On physical goods, yes (depends on US state). On digital downloads, I've never had to pay tax, even when they finally implemented tax on physical goods in California recently.

I know, that's why I stopped. I bought a lot of games this year and I hardly played them. This pack is a great deal, and it will give me quite a few games to give away, but I think that in practice that's not really worth it.

Probably not, contact Steam support to have them remove DE Standard from your account so you can put in DE:Augmented.

Did this, they refunded me DE Standard to my Steam wallet, and, since a variety of stuff popped up, they also gave me a bunch of other stuff that accidentally got removed from my inventory - so now I have a few extra copies of stuff.

Be warned. It takes a few days for this to happen. Mine got wrapped up in two weeks. Suggest you buy the code and just wait for Steam support to handle it.

I got mine on Steam. I'm not sure if they can give you a return to your Steam wallet, but you might be able to let them just remove the game from your library.
