Today is my birthday and a little over a month ago was my cakeday, so I have some giveaways hidden behind a puzzle. As it turns out, I also just passed the 10000 giveaways entered.

Images and Words

There are 7 puzzles in total and the goal is to find the games I'm giving away.
Each room contains a chest where you have to enter the name of the game(leave out any potential ":") I'm giving away in that room.
Clues are scattered throughout the rooms, up to the chest for that room. So no clues for the 3rd puzzle in room 4 or later.
What is in the later rooms are hints for the previous rooms. those hints are encrypted with ROT13 for those who find them but don't want to see them just yet.

Images and Words

Hints

  • Like I said, there are hints throughout the dungeon, but they might not suffice for everyone/all puzzles, so you can ask for some help here and I will see to help you along.
  • It would be helpful if you have a notepad or spreadsheet open to organise the clues.
  • You can go to previously visited tiles by clicking on them on the map, except to chests or enemies.
  • You can skip rooms if you don't know the answer to try the others or to find the hints.
  • This could help a bit as well.
  • The answers to the chests are game names.
  • The clues for the puzzles are found by checking the walls of the rooms.
  • Case for answers is irrelevant.

Giveaways

All giveaways end at the same time as the dungeon. 12th of November 23:00 UTC+1

General hints

You should end up with a 6 digit number for each puzzle, which should lead you to the game I'm looking for.
The first line(s) you hear when using the song link(at a chest) are (subtle) hints to finding the answer.

Puzzle 1

Switch it off.

Puzzle 2

Puzzle 1 link.
Shoe hint.
End the card game.

Puzzle 3

Read this.

Puzzle 4

Hint.

Puzzle 5

ROT13: "Rng zl nff naq onyyf".

Puzzle 6

Where are you now?.

OK this definitely isn't the type of puzzle I can do at work between tasks ;-)

Have a bump and I'll get back to it later!

Probably not, once you have all the clues for puzzle 3 or later you might be able to ponder on them, but getting them might not be advisable to do at work. :P

I gathered all clues but I don't understand the puzzles. Have a bump and happy birthday.

Have you gone to all 6 rooms?

Yes

I did notice I didn't link the pieces of paper to a specific puzzle, they relate to the 3rd one.

The rot13 hints didn't help? Since you should be able to get everything(except for the last step) you need for the 4th one that way.

I found values of x, y and z (easy peasy) but I don't have a clue about what to do with them.
And do I really need a spotify account?

No just the info on the page is the hint, I don't even have one. :)

Does P4, P5, etc. means Puzzle 4, Puzzle 5, or do they have any other meaning? Do the numbers correspond to the rooms in the order you find them?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, P refers to puzzle.
And yes Puzzle 1(P1) is the room you start in, the next room is puzzle 2(P2), etc...

Yay, some got solved. :P
Even though 4 and 6 are the easier ones, especially with the hints for 4, it's nice to see they are solvable.
You'll find it eventually.

I think it's puzzle 2, but I can't read off of the shoe like I did with the rest, it might be an image quality thing or maybe I'm missing something.

Puzzle 1, I guess they are all numbers despite the O vs 0 thing. I followed the big hint and it didn't work (tried it in reverse as well). So, maybe I'm missing something there, or the info used is wrong.

Are the answers for Q1-3 numbers?

P5 -> Does case and the "", matter? (there's 30 words total, right?)

Tried to keep it as spoiler-free as possible

For the shoe, I edited the image, you can also zoom in if needed.

P1, yes all numbers. That is my fault, I used EU and US, not JP.

All answers are game names.

P5 There are 30 and the " doesn't matter, that was just so it doesn't get erased by the similar one.

edit: You already tried the correct sequence for P1, if that helps finding the game name.

I got 1, 2, and 4. P5, I had the 30, just miswrote it,
P3 I have xyz, but I'm stuck. If I do rev and mult the solutions with the listed numbers I get nothing of use. The other order of ops got me to this
P6, I don't know how many "clues" I need, I found 3 frames.

Same with the map, no idea what puzzle it's for, but I can't figure out how to read it, maybe it's a game not available in my store

P3: It's a sequence, you have to find the next in the sequence. Meaning they all have a similar pattern to them.

The game is available everywhere, you even own it.

IDK, I'm lost for P3, I don't know what x,y,z have to do with the 7013, 34177, 540001 sequence.
Or what the point of the hints was since solving for x, y, z didn't really require need hints.

Comment has been collapsed.

I admit this is the hardest one.
2 hints are for those who might not be that math inclined.
The other 2 are there to lead you to the last in line, try going from 7013 to 34177 with those hints.

You are still lacking 2 numbers for the first one(going by your guess).
Also your answer should be a game, not numbers.

Bump for solved! Thanks for the giveaways and the puzzles, I really enjoyed them -- very balanced level of difficulty, not too obvious but certainly doable with some thought...
