i see there are many ru/cis giveaways, how can i enter them?
i know im not from those countries, but i can activate any game from this region (and no, i dont use a vpn to do so)

Region restricted GAs are for users within those regions.

imo they should be for users who can activate the games, because my account was set up in russia so i can use russian games even though i dont live there now
because i mean they were separated from public giveaways because lots of people couldnt activate them

From my knowledge region restrecited GAs are not only for games that can only be activated in a certain country. There are also users that only want to create GAs for certain regions/countries. If everyone could enter them even if they dont live in those countries, the restriction would loose its purpose.

And I read a little on steam. It seems you actually have to be in specific region when you activate if its restricted: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1266-QFZC-2141

Even if you can activate it. According to steam you can only play within those countries and mask with VPN/proxy isnt allowed.

Purchases made in Russia is playable in Lithuania. Wonder why they havent that country in the list

RU + CIS (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)
