I think we're winding down on quality free games. Lots of repeats, things that have been bundled before or free to play stuff with cosmetics. I really only look forward to Christmas because there's a chance two or three good games will drop. I'm not huge into indie games so maybe I'm missing something but I don't think this will be a thing next year.

oh, how dare someone post an opinion on something that's free.

Hahaha the clearest sign of immaturity is complaining about something free that no one forces you to get, what are you talking about? Like spoiled children who, if they don't get what they want, throw a tantrum. Boo hoo.
Please don't project your flaws onto me. Bye

complaining about something free
Once again - voicing an opinion is not wrong just because its about something that's free. Seriously - what the heck is so wrong in stating an observation? Who is throwing a tantrum?
Its funny since CalamityUP didn't even complain - just said he is not interested in the indies and acknowledged others might value it more. And I totally can get behind that - From the games they gave away in the beginning I had a lot more interest. Frankly I don't care for most being given away now. My taste in games wont change just because the game is free. I am still happy they give away free games, but I don't see that as a reason why someone couldn't discuss whether they like games being given away. Same shit as with Humble Choice - just because the overall value is low, suddenly no one can voice their opinions because that is evidently forbidden due to the low price.

Edgy. If you don't like dissenting opinions you can ignore the user also. I never trashed Epic and I'm thankful they've provided free games. Just sayin' I think it's goin the way of the Dinosaur.

Ah, jumping to the Hitler analogy. Disgusting really. You lost the argument and my attention. Good day.

I think it's been like that for a while.. most of the stuff I've gotten I already own from bundles. I don't think it's gotten that bad though. I actually played Invincible Presents: Atom Eve which hasn't been bundled and was a recent freebie, and I consider Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! to be a decent freebie. We probably won't see any AAA games until the big Christmas giveaway, but they are still giving away halfway decent unbundled games occasionally

IMO they've done great counting starting January, so to me, I don't think the quality has gotten worse, but I do see some repeats, which is normal, idea is that you go to them and buy some games too. Also I mean there's a reason why x-mas is x-mas, so granted they give better games around those times. I think they were originally going to stop giving games away like 2 years ago but then they decided to continue, and there's been some great games giving within this time. I wouldn't be surprised either if they actually slow it down tho, as nothing is free and if the program doesn't convert users to their store, then they're bound to stop it like they intended to. We just got 2 years extra of free games. But yeah I wouldn't expect anything too new unless it's an indie or for them to start spewing out AAA titles even more so recent ones, as the ones they've given away so far are pretty amazing already. I don't think this is arguable but no one beats them at their free games program, although plenty more can be said against many other practices they follow.
IMO we don't deserve next week for free so it's awesome to see them being given away(even though I bought them). Both Lisa and Industria look really good. I already own both, but that's not their fault I have a huge library, part of their goal is to help users build a big enough library to switch there.

ive been told by a friend that you can unlock the Premium version through epic and then migrate it to steam. so technically you dont even need to play on epic to have full access.
idk how it works bcs i paid for full version on steam when it came out, but here's the guide my friend made:

Same here. I don't think it's a problem. It should definitely be listed here though:

Looks like it will always be free and not a 100% discount like the others. So that would be why.

I wasn't able to buy both in one transaction. LISA: Definitive Edition didn't have an option to put it in the store cart, probably since it's a bundle of two games. I did get an email for INDUSTRIA but not for LISA. They're both in my transaction list though. You however seem to have been able to "buy" them both at once.

Well... probably due to the Instant Checkout links I use that claims all games at once per week.

Hey, everyone.
Here is the complete and regularly updated list of all Epic Games Store free games. This is a continuation of letsmaybeLP92’s work, who maintained this in previous threads.
Epic Games Store offers free games every Thursday at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET. Once you have claimed them, they are yours forever.
