I would like to suggest a button inside the discussion topics. I usually open 5-10 discussions topics at the same time, go through them. Later to make a mistake of hiding other similar titled topics, searching what the topics title were so that I can show/hide them.

Seeing the same deals over and over again made me decide to write a little userscript to hide deals I already saw. I hope I can make someone here happy with it too. It works on all discussions, so it might also prove to be useful in other sections, like hiding puzzles you made already. See the attached demo screenshot how it looks (notice the "Toggle visibility" below the topic title and the "Show/Hide hidden topics" button in the bottom left corner).
Feel free to play around with it or use it in anyway you want. For new users: you will need to have a userscript extension installed in your browser. You can add the script via the link below.
