Hullo,

I'd like to suggest a dark mode for the website. My eyes are sensitive as hell and this bright white page matched with the default colour scheme makes my browsing feels very uncomfortable.

I was using a Stylish theme for Firefox made by Mullins but it was discontinued and it glitches all the time now. I tried a new one but even those glitch as well.

Thank you for your attention and thanks to Waxlor for directing me to post this suggestion here.

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be checking them out soon.

I'm using this one. I had issues with the stylish version so I switched to userscript one and that works perfectly.

I don't read the forums on here. I found the original theme by browsing Stylish.

I'll give it a shot.

I am using a userscipt to get Dark mode, but I definitely agree it would be great if this was built into the site.

I was born with cataract in my eyes, so I always had trouble with bright web pages. I got rid of it with surgery I used this High Contrast Chrome extension which is great, since it works for every single website. This could also work.

I also used Magic Actions For YouTube mainly for its dark mode, but it has a bunch of other cool features too!

I'm using SGv2 dark too, amazing except for navigating those long trains sometimes flashes of the light theme show before it goes dark, but everything else works perfectly.

I'll assume you use the script version since that shouldn't happen if you use stylus.

Indeed I am, since I already run scripts on greasetampermonkey. Guess I'll be trying stylus from now on.

Edit: I quickly noticed the lack of settings options but I've only ever clicked on that twice so I'd probably trade it for no more light flashes.

You could export after you have it set up how you like and then copy/paste that into stylus 😉

there's an unofficial sg app with a dsrk mode, I'm using it so I cannot paste the link, search for it in the discussions.
