Those rpg maker games whose dlc been given away for free alot, but if you want to buy the whole game on steam with a discount you couldn't. Plus it had alot of ingame items you could buy, money grubbing devs.

well I definitely agree, when I wrote some reviews for those shovelwares I picked up in bundles and so on I always noted that it's definitely not just a chance but a concrete/real possibility that such shovelwares/asset flips will be removed sooner or later from Steam =P
in reviewing some games I really found that some of them (mostly Russian) are really just asset flips, made only for achievement spam so as they did with Zonitron months ago I would be happy if Valve will clean something up, especially games that are clearly not meant to be played but just asset flips with random achievements.. we'll see but I think that it's a concrete chance xD

How odd. I still get the store page for Arcane Raise. So not all is lost yet.

only that one, but since they already shut down all the other ones (arcane preraise, occult raise etc., all redirect to the main steam page) I think that it's a matter of some hours..

Still a chance for collectors though. :p

Yay! The air is fresher already. But they need to do more, there's still too many similar cash grabs stinking up the place.

Its a start but this is a drop in the massive ocean of steam. :-)

What games were those?

They were a bunch of silly 'simulators', most of them were just nothing but a couple of NPCs and you running around.

I think they had one called ISIS Simulator/Raging simulator, one of them was literally called 'asset flip simulator' and a bunch of others, there were about 15 of them easily and the sole purpose was to make money off of the collectors because thats a guaranteed sale

ISIS simulator, Suicide Simulator,Glitch simulator,Triggering Simulator, Aids simulator, Asset flip simulator. Might be more but these are the ones i remember, and as you can see, they sounds like quality

wasn't Arcane Raise who published those games?
They are gone, only because its the same publisher

Yeah it was, it's just because Lugum mentioned only the Arcane games that i thought they might've ignored the others and just taken those 3 down, happy to find out they got rid of all of them :D

I don't think they published all their games, but it seems like it was their game that was what got Valve to act, as AIDS simulator (a game about a guy who went to Africa, got AIDS and now is going to take his revenge on everyone living there by killing them) was getting some negative media attention.

And now they became limited edition, which means the games will have more value.... sigh .... I kinda want to get them already

As the games were removed, and not just purchase disabled, everyone should be keeping their CV.

Almost all of those had 0 CV since massive giveaways already.

After Blackscreen Simulator had a troll pricing for 50 bucks or something and a silly troll announcement about it, i kinda wished them games get removed for good.

Good riddance.

it's definitely great news, i hope more "controversial" "simulators" get removed. But makes no difference to me, i hid all of their games, and made no Giveaways for them.

Fucking finally. This day should be made a national holiday or something to celebrate the occasion.

Lol, good, and may they stay gone. Now, hopefully Valve will do something about the many other notorious shit-flinging 'devs', including Ghost_rus, putilin_industries, W.T.B./CSM, and bch waves (would love to see Bmc studio disappear as well). I don't have high hopes for Valve actually getting rid of all of them... but at least the ArcaneRaise asshole is finally gone. I was sick of hiding their garbage.

Yeah, it's a shame that there has to be negative media attention surrounding a game fore Valve to even take noticed. This publisher probably went away due to AIDS simulator

What if Valve decided to clean up the trash? Nah, just a dream.

Considering they just made an announcement they fully embrace the trashpocolypse and we should just do our own damn filtering job... yeah, that's a faint dream.
