--------------- Update ---------------
Thank you everyone for your valuable input. <3 I read every single comment, even if I don't reply to all of them.
I did a few tweaks in the list and bought everything except for the graphics card, which went out of stock overnight (hahah...=_=)
Hopefully one of the decent graphics cards will be back in stock soon :3
The GA is open for another 5 days, feel free to enter~

Hello SGers,

To celebrate graduating and maybe finally getting a real job, I'm celebrating by upgrading my current lap-toaster to a PC capable of 3D graphics higher than 5 FPS.
First time building a PC, it seems only appropriate that I seek suggestions about gaming PC spec on a game-related forum. So here you go, tell me what you think of this PC build:

(PC Part Picker link) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FFqtrr

For those who don't want to click on links:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU-Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2
Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Graphics Card: PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB Red Dragon Video Card
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair RMx (2018) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Wireless Network Adapter (for Wifi and bluetooth): Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter

I'm looking to build a gaming PC that can run games like Bioshock Infinite or Tomb Raider smoothly in high-ish setting while leaving room for future upgrades if desired. No strict budget, as long as it's not crazy expensive.

I think an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super would be a better card than the current Radeon RX 5700 XT. But the NVidia GPU seem to be all sold out for now. I figured Radeon is a pretty good replacement.
For the power supply unit, would 850W be overkill? considering the current wattage estimate is around 400W.
I think I'll only ever use 500GB storage space, but I read that it's better for the SSD capacity to be larger than the utilization. So I went with 1TB.

What do you think?

Any cheap RAM can be overclocked to 3200.
SSD - you don't need Plus. Do you often write 2,5Gb per second? You need only reading speed, pick simple 970.
Also, is there Ryzen 3600X on the market? I don't know. Pick the X if it exists.

I think you've got a pretty decent build picked out. My only suggestions would be to consider additional RAM and another storage drive. 16GB is largely going to cover anything you need, but if you have the space on the board and the budget, I would suggest getting 24 or 32GB for additional futureproofing. With respect to the drive, I'm a fan of having my OS on one drive and my games on others. If you have multiple NVME slots, I would add a 250GB drive for your OS and keep the 1TB for your games. You'll fill a 1TB drive faster than you'd think, so you may want to consider something like a 500GB NVME drive for your OS and selected games, and a 2-4TB SATA SSD as your main game drive. You'd likely be fine with a SATA 7200 rpm drive too, as from my understanding the majority of games (excluding super recent ones) don't always see a big performance difference being on HDD vs SSD.

For whatever it helps, I'm running an i7-4790K/ 1070Ti with 24GB of DDR3 RAM and I'm still able to run games at near max settings. Cyberpunk is high or ultra across the board (in 1440p) and runs smoothly. The only games that have given me slight trouble are Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider and those are just (apparently) more CPU intensive than many other games.

Either way I think your build will more than accomplish your needs. Additional storage should definitely be in your future though!
