I am getting pretty annoyed by watching other people making threads about twitch.tv streams. From those i watched, i got nothing but the strange feeling, of why am i watching this? i could play myself.

People looking for attention because of their attractive personality and generous giveaways. Little children like free games the most, so put two and two together and you get a loyal audience of greedy people.
I've never watched a live stream of someone playing a game and don't ever plan to.

Oh well, you didn't i know that. I just don't get the whole point of watching other people play games, while i (and most greedy kids) while i could play myself, just wish someone would elaborate.

It's VERY different to watch football as opposed to some rando playing a game.
It's similar to that feeling when you were younger and went around to your friends house to play video games but ended up doing more watching than playing because there were too many people and only 4 controllers. Of course in this case, you don't know the friend you're visiting and he doesn't let you play.......at all....

i don't watch sports either on regular basis, thing is, watching football is watching something i could never do on the same level, there is competition between the teams,
Watching some random dude playing a game, i could play myself, in my own style does without any competition simply doesn't make sense to me
