MW2 and MW

I was just wondering how big the community that still plays MW2 and MW on Pc is because i was considering getting one of the two. The new Call of Duty games are too overrated/bad players and what not.

Activision has sent out a C&D on AlterIWnet (where they made MW2 how it should have been, dedis and proper anti-cheat and more) but the guy who made it is continuing his project on http://fourdeltaone.net/ but will require MW2 on your Steam account, so I'd say it's worth buying on sale.
