Maybe contact FIFA 12 support when you experience FIFA 12 problems?
Maybe contact support of your hardware supplier if you experience hardware problems?
If that does not help check what other processes are running (e.G. Virus Scanners) and terminate them at your own risk.

I would also recommend, that if your playing only offline in FIFA, to switch Origin to "Offline Mode". Might save you some resources as well.
You should also play Ultimate Team. Its the best mode EVER

I hope you want be mad if I ask, because I have no support :(
I have Y580 since yesterday and I wanted to play FIFA 12 on it (origin).
So I played very nice, no lags etc. And later it lags as hell, I can't run or shoot without a HUGE hilarious lag. I turned in the NVIDIA Control Panel (Processor NVIDIA) globally. In the battery gauge I turned the switchable graphics, also I have the newest graphic drivers and it lags a bit less now, but still laggy as hell. Also I ran 3D Mark 11 and here are results :

I don't know if it is good or not. Please help.
Also I ran HWMonitor, and max temp in game is 47 degrees of Celsius.
