So I just played Fortix for the first time...

It surprisingly was actually kinda fun! Here I was expecting crap because it's the cheapest game on steam and kind of a joke in this community. I know the same can't be said about Bad Rats.......

Its great fun. I started on the second one while my internet was down these last few days.

Just a shame it got bundled, I'm not sure that the next giveaway event topic will go so well as the first two (168 in the first, and matched by the devs, and the second had 280 copies). The Fortix 2 giveaways in those topics have always been in single digits, and I don't want that to happen to Fortix. :(

I do kind of agree that since it doesn't cost at all less than it would to just buy Fortix and that it's a big part of the community it shouldn't be on the bundle list. But CV isn't really as important as being awesome and giving stuff away. And the bundle also means a big flood of keys just entered the market because of those who bought it for the other games. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I'm not even that bothered about the CV myself, though I don't know if I'll repeat the 25 personal copies of the original topic either way, but there are people who do care. I'll need everyone taking part in order to beat the numbers of the first two.

Probably because at first glance, it looks like a thirteen-per-dozen crappy phone game for a dollar.
You need to actually start it up and play for a bit to recognise it's simple but solid fun.
But many people will have skipped it before getting to that point...

Up to the part where you have to capture 3 forts per shire.

It reminds me of an old dos game but I can't remember its title ^^
