Aren't the paypal fees high enough that people may be better off buying it directly from steam?

nope, usually people can just pay 'as friend/family' which gives no fees, but certain country like mine need an extra like 30c, which is still lesser that normal price(even-though not that much, lol).

Well that sucks. I wonder if anyone here is able to tell the forums in which countries they have been able to pay as friends/family. The fees for this work out to something like $.35 USD for me. Thanks for the offer.

What is up with paypal fee's? a few days ago i sent 26 euro's to someone and i had no fee's neither did he. (we are both from other sides of the world)

yup, there are certain country like me dont have the firend/family features which gives no fees. but anyone that have that features when send me will be no fees. ;)
