It redeems it to bethesda account so should appear in the steam game as well. Not sure though. I dont have Dark Ages and don't plan on getting it.

I don't know. But you can transfger your games, DLC and content to your Steam account. It should also transfer the items.

I think once you claimed it and appearing in Bethesda Transaction then you'd be fine.
Since the expiration date they only mention for claiming the bundle from their page, but not in-game, so assuming you still get them in-game afterwards if you claimed from Bethesda site.
