Some Tycoon Sims for the weekend?

There's this Zoo Tycoon game on Steam, but apparently it's more like a mobile game -- you don't get full creative control over your zoo.
If you don't mind waiting a little bit longer, Planet Zoo is supposed to be released later this year. I have VERY high hopes for this one.

that zoo tycoon is a shit xbox port. i also own 2 knockoff shity zoo tycoon games on steam, meh. i just want Zoo Tycoon and both its expansion packs. let me feed people to dinosaurs like the good old days. name a bear moose and let it smash up everything in your park. no HD remake bullshit, unless they add steam workshop! workshop items and animals would be fun. got the Hd remake of age of mythology cause the old one well still fun had its day. i wish i could find my old ZT cd

Yeah, I still have Zoo Tycoon and ZT2 on disc, got them both installed on my computer. I don't play the original much but I play ZT2 occasionally.
I remember the original fondly -- there were so many custom animals you could download! I can't remember which website I used to go to, but I must have downloaded 100 animals made by random people. Some were pretty ridiculous, but some were really well done.

Planet Zoo runs on the same engine, and is made by the same creators, as Planet Coaster, which has about +-245.000 user created items available on the Steam Workshop, which are blueprints created with ingame content; and about 3000 Thememaker Toolkit items, which are full custom models.
So we will probably see a lot of user-made content.

I know Planet Coaster has lots of user-made content... I was just thinking that it would be a lot harder to create an animal than to create a ride or a shop or a tree. But there are some talented modders out there, so I guess we'll see! It will be hard for me to avoid buying Planet Zoo as soon as it comes out.

If Fanatical's name was not added to the thread I would of thought by looking at the price and games it would of been an IG bundle. Fanatical doesn't normally put together a bundle of mixed/negative games.

Posts like this make me wish for a like or thumbs up or something of that nature. I imagine a lot of people share this sentiment given the usual quality of Fanatical's bundles. Rebundles are one thing but mostly negative games? That only serves to tarnish Fanatical as a whole.

I just noticed that this is a publisher's bundle, which explains things a lot better. On the positive side of things it does seem like some of the dev teams look like they are trying to communicate and update/fix their games.

I bought Resort Boss: Golf recently but haven't tried it yet.
As I mentioned previously the developer is a fan of Sid Meier's SimGolf, and is hoping to make a modernized take on that game. I still have high hopes.
I wanted to get the game for my friend -- he was a big SimGolf fan back in the day -- so the bundle is a good chance to do that, I guess.

I'm interested in Resort Boss and the Shoppe Keeps, but my caution from weak reviews and my HDD disconnecting twice in 2 days is telling me I should save my money ;)
At least there will be more GAs for these games now!

Looking at the poll results I question the (as of now) 3 people who actually said they would buy this. Did they click the wrong button? Are they trolls? Who knows, but this is one of the worst bundles I've seen from Fanatical, and that's saying a lot. I guess Fanatical is making their money on the gambling mystery purchases now and don't need to worry about bundles.

finally grabbed this cause of Willowbrooke Post, then found out there's also Resort Boss (just quickly tried, good for me, very green and chilling).
less than 4 euro, automatically discounted (-10%).
