My 5-years-old laptop has i5 2.67GHz with 4Go RAM and Radeon Mobility 4500 series and I play with blueprints on the demo scene (with graphics looking like a 3D GBA game). but I still like it :D

But I'm allover Unity for real game dev (including Wii U).

30 FPS on 4-core android, AAA graphics, scene full of grass with masked material + trees and dynamic lightning. No FPS drop.

Yes, you're right here. Building over Android takes extreme amount of time.

Really? You did blacklist me because we argued? Ehh, whatever.

When people design for mobiles, they usually design for the masses, not for the ones with a xpto phone.

2-core is what most people have and use, if you want to profit, you aim for those group of people.
EDIT: Also, I'm taking the fact that it doesn't work on 2-core like he said. I have no exp in this area :P

I tested it only on my local Android - Galaxy Ace 4, however I don't think 2 or 4 cores can have this big difference. I don't know.

And free!! It's fat because there is already some content to use with, and epic give you all source code included so you can customize it as you want. Mobile is fully supported on UE, and GI also as experimental feature on mobiles

I'm UDK veteran (I'm holding tutorial series over YouTube) and I was also UE4 closed beta tester. Currently I'm planning to do some game, I'm writing a scenario now.

Nice to meet you :D What type of game?

Experimental game. It's hard to describe, but I want to mix photogrammetry with handmade real-life recorded cutscenes. The "game" if I could call it a game, would be a surreal art vision of a guy afflicted by anxiety and depression.

Nice and original idea. It's for therapeutical scopes?

5% royalties on gross revenue with Unreal engine kinda sucks, especially when you take into consideration the standard 30% cut steam and other similar stores take along with tax.
That 5% ends up being a lot more money with a successful game then buying Unity license or other engine would. Not to mention you have to keep sending reports on how much your game(s) make and what not to Unreal folks, they want to keep track of everything.

Take a look at Godot engine (completely free). I personally am considering giving GameMaker Engine a try, a friend bought me Pro version alongside with Android Exporter in that GameMaker HumbleBundle. But I wont do anything before I manage to get a new PC because this one is just a dying mess.

I've been using it since around a month before it went free. I've done a few learning projects on it but haven't released anything yet (lost my "big" project after my HDD died) but I've been playing around with it a lot. Few days ago I had the idea to make a board-game (got inspired after playing 100% Orange Juice for the first time) but after I started I realized it might be better if I did it in Unity/GameMaker(if I had it) or I made my own small engine since I don't need all the stuff UE offers and I'm working on a laptop which has some problems handling UE.
