I just watched that scene on YouTube. I need to watch this film.
That said, I'd rather look like the remake Medusa. :D lol

Yeah, I guess straight guys would find that one more easy on the eyes. ;) But Medusa was never meant to be beautiful, quite the opposite. I've only watched that scene from the remake and hated it. It's all CGI and fast moving... plus, yeah, I thought it was rather lame to make Medusa kinda appealing. What I love from the original flick is the tension build up. That stop motion animation was... kinda magic.

Or gay girls. ;)
I totally get what you're saying, though. There's something magical about stop-motion.
Granted, I'm also a CGI-apologist, so... don't hate me. lol.

..... or bisexual ones. ;)
Hey, when done right, CGI is great too. It's just that in that particular case... It almost looked like a video game, fast, action-oriented with plenty of stunts. I much, much preferred the slow pace of the 1981 flick. There was a tense, spooky-ish atmosphere and to me, that was just perfect. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

... or pansexual ones. ;) I think we can play this game all day. lol
Yeah, I think that's the problem with modern films, isn't it? Every scene they want to see how they can make it over-the-top or "epic." And the public is just as worse. Films that try to do a slow-pace are heavily criticized. It's a sad state of affairs.

Oh, I think you're spot on.
Well... we're living in an instant era. People sometimes freak out if they don't get a reply to their text message 30 seconds after it's been sent. So this is kinda expected? We aren't used to anything that isn't lightning-fast anymore.

Shapeshifter is an option. As long as it's not used for spying on the girls locker room. :P

maybe a giant wonderful butterfly with the cap to spire fire like a dragon that lives to defend his race against other races which destroy his habitat. why are monsters always bad (thats to simple)

A little repulsive monster that deals insignificant damage, is easily killed even on level one and drops no loot. And doesn't even come in swarms. Probably a tutorial monster.

And yes, here I go, having just woken up (and doing my daily FFBE run) and thinking again.
So this latest bit of thought has me wondering... If you were a monster in an RPG, be it on the side of good or evil, what kind of monster would you be?
And before anyone says it, yes I know that humans are the real monsters in these stories so they don't count.
Edit- And the monster can also be a side character or something like a merchant, should you like to be. Just not a god.
