Invest over what timespan? With $10, there is really not much you can do that will double your money within a reasonable timespan that is legal, and not a big gamble.

if you don't know what to do, saving up is a good start, just keep an eye out for inflation. You can also buy a certain good which you expect to keep a steady value independently of currency. Gold bars are, I think, not a bad example, even though they fluctuate quite a lot on the long run.

Buy a sketch pad and some pencils and stuff. People pay good money for drawings of anime characters in compromising positions.

check the steam market for items that have been rising in price lately and buy 500.000.

Invest in a company that aims to mine asteroids. When asteroid mining kicks off your handful of stocks should sky rocket. Take my advice with a grain of salt though.

Get to know your local thrift shops and especially their discount days. Turn your $10 of PayPal money into 10 pieces of paper with George Washington on them. Keep a look out for games and electronics that you could resell for profit. Look up things on your phone while you're there. You'll mostly find thrift shop junk, but you can occasionally find some really good deals. I've found at least two copies of the Neverhood hiding among the audio CDs over the years.

If you find something good then it wouldn't be hard to turn a dollar into two or three, assuming you're willing to go through the effort to sell and ship the item. I thrift for fun myself, but with all the deals I've gotten over the years it wouldn't be hard to turn a decent profit.

Stickers after CS:GO major is at the play-offs. They go on sale and like months later will value the double or more. Some value a LOT more later, but I don't think it will be the case this major, its the red stickers with nice logos, like iBUYPOWER or LGB.

I bought LGB stickers at sale for like R$0,80 and they now are valued R$7,00.
