i mean, when it's an already wacky premise, it's gotta be funnier than the other. cthulhu is the later game though, so it takes cues from breath of death (like the zombies)

I haven't gotten around to Breath of Death, but Cthulhu Saves the World was very enjoyable.

They're unrelated, and both fantastic. Flip a coin, you should have a good time either way.

I started with Cthulu, but it's up to you (hehe, I made a rhyme).

breath of death was released first, and it sort of feels that way. so i'd start there and play cthulhu second, but if you played the other way around the only downside i can think of is that you might miss some of the features from cthulhu that aren't in breath of death. they're very similar games but their stories aren't connected.

I think you should go with BoD VII first.
