But I'd like to point out that indiegala does not say "beat the average" at all and the price does go up during happy hour. I had said beat the average on this thread but I changed it to say beat the price since that's more accurate.

"Pay more than" would be accurate, there seems to be no beating involved here. Also if you're affiliated with IG, why don't you just disclose it instead of referring to them as "they"?

I'm not affiliated. Heck, the rest of you knew what the unlocks were before I did. But yeah "pay more than" would be a better way to word it. I agree that it is rather annoying that the price increases during happy hour. It's like "buy one get one free" but then double the price so you're buying both anyway.

I've never been to a pub where the price of drinks goes UP during happy hour.
Frankly it goes against the very premise of a duration of time which might be reasonably described as "happy".
"Crappy hour"? "Sucky hour"? "Hour during which one might justifiably approach the bar wielding knuckledusters or brandishing a pool cue"?

Yeah I don't really like the happy hour myself since it's not very happy and like I said you're really just paying for both. I just get one for myself when I see games I want and it's still cheap.

Shortly after that they posted about this mega bundle in the gala store that you get a discount if you bought the June bundle. Wonder if that was the big announcement. I kind of don't think so. So I guess we wait and see.
