won magicka giweaway -> got serious sam 3 what should i do?

i supposo you have to tell the giveaway maker o give u the correct game. Or mark as not received... But better ask support.

Ask for the correct game or mark as not received because you can get banned if you mark as received and the game is not found in your profile.

first: contact the giveaway-creator and tell him about it. if he doesnt give you magicka, and you think it was just a mistake that he gave seriouse sam instead, contact support, maybe they delete the GA. (So you cant be blamed that you dont have Magicka without marking it as "not recieved").
If you think it was intentional, just mark it as "not recieved".

So i must ask for magicka too?

I may be mistaken, but when you redeemed the humble link (I'm making the assumption here that it's from the Humble Jumbo Bundle) wouldn't it have said you're about to activate Serious Sam, not Magicka? Sounds like giveaway creator just sent you the wrong link, but you activated it anyway?

In any case, creator will probably be happy to just buy another bundle and give you Magicka if you let him know about it.

It's so simple...be happy that you got a much better game than Magicka.

Because you won Magicka, and got SS3, you should ask the let the creator know, and see if you cna get the Magicka key, as for the SS3 key, nothing you can do about it, so it's his fault. If he does not send you the key for Magicka, mark the giveaway as not received.

they made the mistake so unfortunately for them, they have to fix it by giving you the correct key (kind of a d*ck move but rules are rules.... either you will be suspended for not activating the correct gift or he will get bad rep for not giving it to you)

If it were me, and A: I felt it was an honest mistake on the part of the gifter and B: I was in a kind mood, and C: The game wasn't one I thought was trash, I'd put in a support ticket, explain the situation and ask if it was OK for me to mark the giveaway as received. I don't know if they can/will, but they MIGHT be willing and/or able to make an exception in your case. I mean, you already got a game that's worth more than Magicka. shrug

SS3 is better

If you want SS3 as much an Magicka then you can ask support to change the giveaway, I know I once made a giveaway for a game, but it was not exactly the right game (which I did not realise until a winner was found).

The receiver was OK with it, so support just switched the giveaway. Expect them to take about a week doing it though, they are normally quite backed up.
