So I got locked off my hotmail account and tried to get access back by using phone number to get a code. They sent me the code and when I return to the page to put it, the "put code here" disappeared so I tried to do it again but they said I tried to many times and to try tomorrow(so 1 try is too much for them-great effort guys)
Then i decided to contact them, but answered sent me a few suggestions but couldn't help and said that I have to talk to a real person and showed me a link that says "email us" that sends me to the mail that I'm locked out off.
So after logging out trough microsft account (which is the same account but works) I tried other account but its also locked and says i tried to many times to get code(which refers to my lonely try with first account)
I didn't quit and tried to create a new mail account where it seems that any letter /number combination is already in use
And now I'm left with a locked account and a bot that says to email support through the same locked account
No gib for now, maybe later

yep, those kind of "too many try" appear on many services, not only hotmail, for no good reasons. Sometimes they don't even recognize the right combination of account + password because it bugs. The only thing you can do is trying agani later on, as they won't help you at all, they probably won't give you any any non-bot answers before you manage to actually log in
Sometimes there are good reasons though, like, are you using a vpn ? if yes then maybe other people using same adresse might have try to much for their own account. Have you fail password on another hotmail account ? because they will be taken into account too..

Unless you pay for it, it's free, therefor they don't give a shit, being $$$ microsoft they most likely even want to get rid of it if they could.

Been using mine for a good 20 years, occasionally their spam filter is slipping, few months ago i received 50+ a day, but for the rest it's okay. Better then gmail imo.

I've been using hotmail since 2005, never had a problem, so why would I change to a newer service? To feel like I'm part of the cool kids? lol it's just a mail service, doesn't matter what year it is.

Did you pre-register your phone number or other email address in Microsoft preferences?
If you don't, it's likely to be awkward.(💧)

Either way, you will need to reset your password.

After you finish, check your login history quickly and report "illegal's login".
You can report from the history page.

Free email services on the Internet are preliminary.
The primary email address will probably be the email address that comes with your provider or smartphone.
If your main email address is not tainted, you can reset your password relatively safely.

Malware, adware, Virus, etc. may be lurking in your PC.
Please also consider the possibility that it may not be possible to enter.
Scan for antivirus and malware.

I use hotmail as gmail verification and vice versa, and have had zero issues.

Wait until you're locked out of both at the same time...

Were you using a VPN? Your IP could have been flagged.

I would try clearing all cookies for the Microsoft sites and trying again. Could also be an issue with bad cookies.

I have a hotmail account. I only ever use it for junkmail nowadays because I just don't trust their security. I never had any issues like this though.

Four score and eight hundred thousand miles ago; this vehicle was a prime delivery system of analog communication via paper. Paper you see, being the mainstream form of mail at the time. Slurps coffee But Ol' Mailey didn't give up once E-Mail got invented, no siree. He kept on chuggin' until he was finally decommissioned in 2001 because parts weren't made for him anymore. Now he sits in retirement watching over the homestead. Sure he could use a little spackle; but I'm sure Ol' Mailey just likes to watch the sunrise and sunset. Yes sirree.
