yep, mine now seems to reflect the actual amount.
It seemed to change as they implemented the new badges for those that have many games (such as my Director of Acquisitions one for 500 games)
Before this it listed about 910, now says 674

I wish they would make Sam and Max episodes all into one item in my library. Takes up a lot of room.

Prior to the update the number also included demos/free to play games you played and uninstalled as well as some trailers for whatever reason. They were all visible for a few days under the "Recently Played" section early in the beta.
This is a lot better now :)

Anyone else notices their Steam Profile showing fewer number of owned games than before. Wondering if it's because of the current Steam Maintenance or Have they adjusted it to reflect the actual number of games in Steam Library (before it was always higher due to DLCs being counted as well).
Edit: The new Steam Trading Cards Group announcement confirms that
"Profile Game Count: The number shown next to the "Games" link on the new profile should now more closely match the number of games shown in the Steam library."
