A Question About Claiming the Gift URL's for Humble Bundles

Hi everyone. I have a question about humble bundle.

If someone gives me a gift url for a humble bundle, i write my email adress and humblebundle sends me an email that have my humble url. When i click the humble url it opens the bundle page and when i click "claim this page" the page is mine.

But here is my question.

When i enter my email to the gift url humble bundle sends me an email that has humble url. If i don't click "claim this page" and reopen the gift url there is an option to write your email again and to get humble url. When you reenter your email and request humble url you receive an email saying "It looks like you have requested your Humble keys. If you did not initiate this request, please disregard this message."

Is other people able to write their email on the gift url and receive an email to claim it?

When someone gives you a gift url for humble bundle, you write your email to the url and receive an email that says "Your Humble Bundle order is ready" and there is this. Your Humble URL: (humble url here)

When you click this url bundle page opens when you can claim the page.

But when you don't claim the page, you can open the first gift url and enter your email again to request the bundles list. When you do it you receive an email that gives you the links of the bundles you have.

My question is, assuming that i didn't claim the page, if another person opens the gift url, writes his email and requests bundle url, is he able to receive my bundle page's url and claim the page?

I think my english is not enough to tell this situation :)

Well, if you are in possession of a gift URL you can claim it, so why shouldn't you also be able to send it to an arbitrary email address?

i think when you are gifted with this url you can either send it forward to gift it someone, or when the gifting chain ends you can claim it.

if i could guess your gift url anyone can claim it or forward it would assume, it's a unique url for this particular gift

The first time an email is entered, the gift is used. The humble link will only be emailed to the first person to enter their email. Whether or not those keys are activated on that specific humble URL, is entirely up to the person who activated (as only they received the link).

I was looking for this answer. Thanks alot mate. Assuming i am the first to enter email to the gift url, received an email but didn't claim the page, i don't have to worry that someone else can claim it, right?

Yes, as it will only send the humble URL to the email that was first entered. In your case, you are the only person who knows the URL.

Thank you mate. And if i give the url of the bundle page which has "claim this page" button to a friend, will he be able to claim the page for himself?

Giving him the gift url is better and easier but i am in a stupid situation and this is my last question. Thanks again.

Yeah, as long as you haven't redeemed any of the codes, there's no reason you can't simply send him the link to that page.
