Mine jumped about $100 today inexplicably also.

Typically this is due to pricing errors on Steam which cause a change in valuation of older giveaways. This most often happens with Valve games (e.g. Counter Strike has been listed at $100 before), but I believe it has happened with others too.

The contrib value will drop back down to where it should be in a day or two.

Sorry to hear that man...

It's a known bug. Don't worry, CG is working on it. The games that have already been fixed have a * near their name in the giveaway creation drop-down menu.

It's a scam I tell you.
