Hello all,

I won my first game "Don't Starve Together" 5 days ago. Creator of giveway sent me the key but key had regional restrictions (South America) so I told the creator that I can't use the key so I think he should choose another winner, maybe someone who can use. He agreed and I sent the gift back but I am still winner and I think creator didn't do anything about it. Is there anything I can do about it? What should i do?

The GA doesn't appear on your won games section. Are you sure the creator hasn't already deleted the GA?
Important is that you didn't mark it as received. But it's up to the creator if he starts a new giveaway then.

I can see ga in my won section. I didn't mark as "received" nor "not received".

Yup, thanks. Didn't think of that scenario.

1) You could allow the creator to roll another winner, despite him not setting a region restriction. Problem with that is, he's just as likely to roll another winner who can't use it.

2) You could let the creator know he's supposed to send you the proper game, since you're the winner. If he doesn't send you a copy you can activate, then you'd mark it as "Not Recieved" 7 days after the giveaway has ended.

3) (this is what I'd do) Let the creator know on the giveaway that you're okay with deleting the giveaway so that he can send in a "Delete Giveaway" request and make a new giveaway with the proper region restrictions on it.

1) I know it could be a problem.

2) if I mark as "Not Recieved", will the creator be punished? I don't want that too.

3) I think he knows I am ok with it. Because I already told that he can roll another winner. It is a mistake, it can happen.

with option 2 and 3 Ga creator will lose 1 GA slot. wich ar needed to create GA.
But you can get more slots by getting an x amount of ga's marked received.

Only difference between 2 and 3 is that with 2 it will also show up in both your profiles, and also not sure if it will count to your amount of wins...

No, not unless he makes it a habit.

You have to explicitly state that you're okay with the giveaway being deleted on the giveaway, or support won't do it.

He is wise.

My mother (and half of SG) would vehemently disagree with that statement, haha.
I'll hump your leg for it, though.

It could be possible, I also made a ticket about it too.

he's probably waiting for a reroll so you are still marked as the winner. post in the giveaway that you agree with a reroll (this is proof support needs).
just wait and it will be fixed.

From my own experiences and from what I hear from SG users/friends re-rolls can take from several days to a week.
