I've never played any battlefield games. Is it worth buying it for the $5 sale?
I don't even have an origin account. Should I make one for this or is this a game to pass up?

Also what could I run the game at? I am perfectly fine if the graphics are on the lowest possible settings but I just want to be able to run at least 50 fps.
Can this do it?
AMD Quad Core processor A8-4500M, AMD Radeon HG 7670M, 4GB DDR3 RAM.

i think so, I played a lot of hours split between pc and 360. plus they have the free dlc. The multiplayer is definitely worth it, the single player is alright.
Sorry, i don't know if you can run it or not.

Any ideas on why this is happening? "Sorry, but you do not meet the requirements to purchase one or more of the items in your shopping cart."

I don't believe so. I never put real dates but for reasons like this I always put 1990 as the year. I have 2 EA accounts. One I signed up on Burnout Paradise. I didn't even put a birthdate in that. How can I change it/set one?

I googled your problem and can't find a solution for it. Sorry.
I guess, just try and contact support? It should be your best bet.

If/When you do end up buying it, I highly recommend getting the Premium upgrade, which is $15 right now. It more than doubles the map count, adds in a great set of gamemodes, and gives access to a large amount of extra vehicles and unlockable weapons.

don't buy from origin because the ea downloader will install a securom rootkit. battlefield 2 and up require punkbuster. AMD Radeon 7670M should provide 37 fps on low

I'd say it's worth it if you're into more skill based fps games. If you are used to FPS's like COD you might have a hard time adjusting.

After 420+ hours, I think it is one of the best games I've ever played on multiplayer. It's worth much more than 5$.

You can run it fine. I ran it on a worse rig then that before i upgraded. Buy the game. Its awesome. Well worth the 5$. Best shooter out there right now in my opinion and I play a lot of FPS. I paid 60 for mine and don't regret it.

I was personally disappointed, it was a step back from the Battlefield name and blinds people with flashy graphics. The gameplay just wasn't nearly as fun and forces all the combat in smaller area instead of requiring squads to go after different points. Frankly I don't think it feels much different from all the other shooters out right now which is a shame because 1942 and 2 were two of my favorite online games of all time.

I bought it for $10, if it were on Steam I would have paid as much as $30 for it, but because it's on Origin I wouldn't pay more than $20.

Honestly it's a great game, I never got into BFBC2 multiplayer so I can't really compare them, but BF3 is a very fun game, and easily worth $5. If nothing else, it's just nice to have a good FPS waiting whenever you're in the mood for it.

well for 5$ it worth it, but if you have the moneyz i'd recommend waiting for BF 4 since most multiplayer fanboys will go for that one too leting BF3's multi pretty dead.

never tryed it on multi ( single arrr! ) , but really not worth the SP campain, is short and story is not so good...mabye worth for graphics, those are great.

so again, if you're low on money go for 5$ thing, guess it's gonna worth it...if you can afford BF 4 in few months then just wait for it.
