Don't exactly know if you're talking about GAs there or here with games from there.
Talking about IG GAs there:
Yeah, they've changed few things, also there's a games filter and blacklist option now. But I didn't notice that winners would have to provide email addresses. Maybe I should look into it more often to react faster if winning something.
GAs with games from IG here:
I've never used gift links at IG. Since they usually don't provide good games as HB, it's also barely needed for trading. Due to their recent rule changes for gift links I'd suggest to work with keys instead of gift links.

Generate the keys. Once you send a game through their system to an email, they never indicate that you did. What I mean is that if you have several copies of the same bundle and send a game to someone's email, you will not be able to check later which one of the copies you sent. It only shows up once they redeem it.
This means that if you have a winner who does not respond, you have no ways to prove SteamGifts support you tried to send the game because there is no feedback for sending.
Moreover, if the winner registered a different email on SG and on IndieGala, they will not be able to get the game. IndieGala will only reveal the key for the email account it was sent to, so the winner would need to register a new account under that email too.
Oh, also, if you generated gift links before, the only way to get the game keys is to send the new gift links through their own gift system to your own mail, one by one, and reveal the keys, one by one. I had to do this for 300 keys. It was fun as fuck.

ANSWER: Sure, it's one of those things to do. Send them all to myself & put referral links in SG.
Agreed, "fun as a fuck"!

Wanted to giveaway some Indiegala extra keys (probably over 50 keys, from what I saw). But as the rules in Indiegala changed, had some issues with it.
PREVIOUSLY
Indiegala would generate the LINK to be imported here. We even complained (some of us) to admins & got Indiegala giveaway links imported as a good way to a game.
NOW
Indiegala has switched to giveaways over MAILS, so every time someone makes a giveaway for those games, a winner has to write it's mail to provider of the giveaway to get the game. Is that OK & within the rules?
As mails are private things. Do we ask for a mail to be put in giveaway?
If we need to exchange mails over different method, only STEAM comes to play - as we're all on STEAM. But we can't message, unless friends. & I for one don't want to add some unknown people to my STEAM account. Would you?
What do you think?
