This is the way to do it.
Now I can just look at the list, see that it contained one thing on my wishlist, enter that one and move on, instead of wasting server resources and time going through every... single... giveaway... just to see what it all contained.

I agree, this is much faster and I like it better than trains, but I have to wonder if trains cost more and hurt the site because of server load or if they benefit the site by generating money from the ad on each page.
Edit: It would be interesting to know something like: the cost of the bandwidth for 1 million giveaway pages being loaded compared the the money earned from the ad on the same 1 million pages. You would have to factor in the percent of users that block ads as well.
