What will steam support do?
Well, you could trade it, I guess you paid the ROW price and that it's probably worth less with the region lock, but at least you'd get some keys back.
Are the gifts you get after activating 4-pack locked as well?
Yes, I'm pretty sure they are

if this is your first ticket to steam support they will give you back your keys, if not then ...the keys are gone :(

"I know steam policy says they don't reverse trades"
And that's why I don't trade on Steam (no scam protection).

There is one if you'll get hijacked but it's one-off.

I don't see anything locked in your gift inventory, you traded that 4pack gift away? Did you take any screenies of it?
Also, steam "support" won't do shit with your situation, they'll tell you something like "It was your responsibility to check trade contents".

Scammed items or gifts are not returned
Steam Support will not return any items or gifts that you feel have been traded unfairly. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Sorry, report him on Steamrep\here\reddit

Be aware, by "here" he meant a private support ticket, else it would be a calling out, which is forbidden. And if the guy didn't use SG/t to intiate that trade, your report will be most likely declined with mod's "it has nothing to do with our site".
I'm not a part of SG staff!

I've seen a lot of fake report totally ignored\still pending, I don't think someone will get pissed if someone report a real jerk (even if the trade didn't start here)
even if you may be right, I'm not sure

Guess its that game: Gauntlet™ 4-Pack Gift Copy - shows no restriction in your inv
I remember when Valve introduced the Region Locks on Gifts "all new ones" even some old ones showed the warning after i got them
but turned out it was a mistake or a fake warning - whatever ... either way it worked without any ado.
Can't really tell if its the same with yours but i'd be guessing it is, i also remember that Game being flung on its release as a "4pack" while it was only a "1pack" only the gift description was beyond help (almost 1:1 the same on 4packs and 1 splitted single gifts) - pure non giving a fuck. So good luck with that.

^ just for comparision the Gauntlet Single Gift in (his/random-strangers) inventory (a definite 1pack): "Gauntlet 4 Pack Gift"
^ i'd say yours is the pack that contains 4, only the description is outrageous

lol so it actually could even be single copy :D is there no way to check? this it what it says when i try to activate it pic It looks like single copy to me oh well. I have learned the hard way, honestly the gift system is so messed up sometimes, not gonna bother with it anymore. Thanks for all the replies, gonna wait for steam support to reply before i do anything with the gift.

cant tell a 70% had myself one of those back then but knew its 1 pack - your description
is different then the one i looked up for comparison - so it might/should be a 4pack
(one way to check is to compare to others - but usually the description isn't that retarded)
as for the region lock - i remember using a Castlevanaia 2 Gift the Region-Lock signs
showed up after i traded in my inv - but else not when trying to use it ... so i cant tell you how it is with yours
definitely valve's fault ... as for the gift description valve fault too for not giving a fuck

Tbh it was not a scam and with the new policy I doubt steam will help you. You tried to take an advantage from a glitch.
It is sad, you might hate me for telling you this, but it's the truth

That's odd. There shouldn't exist a gift in such conditions, the ideal solution for this would be Valve send you redeemable copies of the game and formal apologies afterwards, but... :/

Yep, same here, i cant see any region locked game in your inventory, is clearly a HUGE mistake from Valve when a gift copy is region locked and that info is not clearly specify in the item description, also many times i see REGION LOCKED items but with no explanation of what is that REGION. =(
If i was you i try to trade it with someone from latam region.
The oher 3 copies will be region locked too .

You could examine gifts in trader's inventory to find restrictions

So today I got scammed for my frist time, traded tf2 keys for 4 pack gift that turned out to be restricted to brazil. The gift itself didn't show any info about restriction untill I tried activating it. What can I do with it? Already contacted steam support but I guess the odds of them reversing the trade are close to zero. Was anyone in similiar situation before? I know steam policy says they don't reverse trades, but in this case isn't it somewhat on them as well that the gifts give no info of restriction? Are the gifts you get after activating 4-pack locked as well? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Edit:
Since some people asked, this is what it says when I try to activate clicky, the gift itself you can see in my inventory.
At least I hope it helps someone to avoid these gifts and not get screwed over.
