Man you werent banned cuz you used SAM you were banned from the forum becasue propably you shouldnt post that topic i dont know... however idling games for trading cards is one thing but using programs to get free achievements is almost like cheating you dont get any profit with that anyway thats mine opinion don`t be offended... but nobody is perfect i for example IDLE lots of games for trading cards so i kinda also cheat a bit but i would never use SAM to get achievements what is the fun of that?

because in payday2, there are some Items locked behind Achievements in the DLC that we paid and those achievements can be impossible to get with the current players. Like doing a pure Deathwish Stealth on a mission to unlock the Mask from the DLC that we paid. So basically our content that we paid are still locked behind achievements.

Depends on ones pov but nether the less, considering how many of the players got sick with the Dev and their DLC practice of their DLC and locking too much behind achievements despite paying for it that it has gone downhill. If the Content is locked behind a Free Achievement content is understandable but behind something we paid is not anymore.

There's a game that I know that simply doesn't allow player to unlock achievement. Darksiders 1 in this example. It's not because players don't play it legitimately to get the achievements, but because the game refuses to give them. I don't know it's the game's fault or Steam's fault, as I don't even see the game's source code.
If this case is considered funny or cheating, then what should players do? Begging them to fix no avail.

Unless its been fixed or changed, Darksiders 1 achievements do unlock the first time the game is launched after starting steam. If you exit Darksiders or if it crashes, you will have to relaunch steam before playing Darksiders again for achievements to continue to unlock.

Even with the cheating if you paid for the game you should still get tech help, I personally don't agree with the cheats but those forums are the only place you can get help with game issues.

I think the reason they would care is because of the achievements dropping items that can be sold on the Steam market. I don't necessarily approve, but it's probably their reason.
