Surprised this hasn't already had a thread of it's own seeing as it was added to the store back in August.

Yeah, old news by now. It's not really a deal. It's F2P now. So is the Android version on Google Play.

A deal can also be free, but i'll change the genre, anyway better late then never? For me it's also the first time i hear about it, so why not inform others?

Absolutely worth sharing, I actually had to go and check it hadn't already been posted as I was sure I'd seen it here as I'd already claimed it.

I stay on top of things via the GOG forum, which was when I learned of the game, so I wouldn't know or care if it hasn't been mentioned here unless it hasn't been mentioned yet. It's among the short list of F2P games on the platform, and just happens to have a mobile version as well. It's an interesting game, nonetheless. Reminds me of Postal a bit.

why not inform others

I did make a passing attempt in the thread for the last GOG sale, but the OP at the time didn't end up editing their thread to make the info more visible, and I decided to wash my own hands of further investment into the topic after the distinctly disfavorable response I got at the time. :S

As a TL;DR of that (with all important info from the previous discussion covered) several new games have popped up over a while now, and aren't showing (YMMV?) through any of the usual, various filters available on GOG, so I and a few others first noticed the games during the last sale, since they were featured on the front page with the other sales (at the very bottom of the page).

These are the games added across 2021 and 2022 that may not have shown through usual search methods AND were seemingly not ever mentioned on SG (note, several of these are tie-in freebies (like Cayne was to Stasis) and may be free on Steam as well):
The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos (DLC - requires base game)
Timelie - Hell Loop (DLC - requires base game)
Hellpoint: The Thespian Feast
OpenTTD
Janosik
Nomads of Driftland
Symphonia
Dink Smallwood

Thanks seems i missed more, will link to your post in op.

Hellpoint seems just a demo though, and Timelie a DLC (which you can't get if you don't own the base game).
For the Chronicles of Myrtana you will need Gothic 2.

Thespian Feast puportedly has its own standalone exclusive content, rather than being a slice from the base game, and has reviews indicating that it's "surprisingly good in its amount of content [offered]". So it shouldn't be like the usual, offensively mislabeled "prologues" on Steam, or similar demos.

It's also one of the ones I'm pretty sure is also on Steam, for those preferring it there. I'd assume the other two you mentioned likely are as well. Likewise, Nomads of Driftland is also a unique content spinoff (a sort of Desperados/Commandos RTS version of the original strategy game Driftland: The Magic Revival, as I understand it), so that one's also likely on Steam. (Steam's bugged out in browser for me atm, so I can't actually check any of those atm.)

Sorry about the lack of proper framing on the two DLCs, and I appreciate you clarifying on that. it's been a bit since the sale, and when I mentioned the games during it the contextual framing for such was a bit different than it is now (being more focused on the games not being visible normally, than on their nature). Ended up running out of time after grabbing all the links for my last post, so I didn't properly make the time to check the circumstances of the links before posting them. I've edited the post above to reflect the new information. ^.^

I appreciate you. Have a nice day, Sooth!

Edit to add:
The first two freebies require a purchase each:

Please note that you are required to own Gothic 2 Gold Edition on GOG.com to be able to purchase and play The Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos

Please note that you are required to own Timelie on GOG.com to be able to purchase and play Timelie - Hell Loop

Oh gosh I got this game on a magazine back when I was a child, somehow I was terrified of it (not sure if it was because of the pig fights or because when you went out and explored and returned home, everything was on fire). Traumatic lol thank you!
