I won a giveaway but i dont think he is going to send it (Question about rules)

i won giveaway for game and didn't receive the key after 3days
and today i tried to open the giveaway link to check one who made the giveaway but i found my self kicked out of the steam group
is it againts rules if he didn't send me the key ?
"i dont know why i got kicked from the group tbh lol"

Only thing you can do is wait for 7 days and mark it not received.

i have question if you know what happen if you made giveaway and never sent the key ?
and got marked as not received ?

Nothing... Some actions(ban) might be taken if there is really lot of not received feedback. But only thing is that it shows when checking user's profile and hovering over send.

Well, if giveaway creator did not even tried to send a key - I would also report this them, since that's a rule violation, fake giveaways are not allowed.

Op could have been a rule breaker for the group requirements, and thus his reason for not sending the game and got him kicked out, it's pure speculation it's fake.

He may be a rule breaker in a group, but they still have to deliver the gift or get suspended by SG rules. It's same as with blacklists - if you blacklist someone AFTER they won - you still need to deliver the gift, otherwise you are rule breaker.

Not if the winner has been kicked from the group before the giveaway ends.

I know that 100% because Archibot does it automatically if somebody is trying to pull a grab and run. I've seen it happen in BundleQuest as well but there they do it manually.

If however the giveaway ended while the winner was still member of the group the price has to be delivered. It's on the creator to provide evidence of time of removal from group.

i happened to me many times...3 i guess... andn it's very weird..u feel happy and weird moment later...i wish there will be much control voer those who make fake GA...at least ban them like i benn banned for forgeting to activate a game i won..sry bad english. i fell your pain bro.

Did you reported those cases to support? Because, you know, support can't check every giveaway on site "just in case", so if someone intentionally not deliver a gift - you should file a user report on them.

only checked as not received...and spoke to cxreator that tell me the usal tale : ohhh i din't knew i must gift the game). it happened 2 times that GA was deleted just after i won them..i think 2-3 times
