Always game of the year, how about "Year of The Gaming"?

As title says, which year do you guys think is the best one that gaming industry prospered with a lot of high quality games?

For myself, it is the year 2007. The reason is simple. The witcher, crysis, bioshock, call of duty 4 modern warfare, mass effect,STALKER were released in 2007. They are great games and they started successful game series.
