Japanese origin is from chinese, so sure they look alike, but japanese kanji looks more simpler, if you know hiragana & katakana it'll be easier.. They're like alphabets of Japanese

Caffeine is caffeine, coffee works better, but if you don't like it, tea works too (as long as it's black, green tea won't work).
Hehe you are a good teacher, still to most non chinese / japanese people it still looks like a bunch of stripes and circles.
But in that second picture aren't several symbols even exactly the same in both chinese and japanese?

I like tea, usually darjeeling or green (matcha) tea.. But not everyday, making them everyday is just not my style.. Too lazy :(

Here we use a water boiler and tea inside bags, takes like 1 minute to make, i drink it all day.
