How do you stream steam to twitch.tv

I can link account but is there a way to stream? Or do I need some software or my cap card? Thanks

This is what I use also. It can also double as recording your desktop or certain windows if you want to do that.

You need separate software. The account link is for getting item drops from watching competitive Dota 2.

You need a separate software. Though I heard some months ago that Valve were looking to include streaming to twitch as something done by Steam client itself. With SteamOS happening, I guess this will be eventually implemented.
