it's nowhere near new, but it is still a good psa.

I don't know why you'd add someone you don't know - particularly if they're level 0

I got that message a few days ago from a dodgy profile too. I didn't open it though, cuz someone once told me of this scam. but bump for others to see

Dont think those are new tbh , its just different take on an existing scam :)
Tbh just check his alternative nicks .... if you see Unasigned as one of them , its one of those Spam bots and just dont accept the friend request .

They're from those shady groups you're joining.
Clean your groups list and no more invites.

If one gets scammed by that level of scam..he is stupid and i feel no pity for that person.

This specific bot has probably tried to add everyone on steam. xD

How does the link steal your account? I thought pastebin just lets you view text.

The same profile added me yesterday too. About 1 week I have 2 or 3 bot like this per day.

Anything that comes from a spamming bot should be instantly dodged, be it a link or god knows what else. Keep that in mind and you will probably never fail for these kind of scams.

Random Steam invites from level 0, private profiles, trade- VAC- Game- banned are immediately blocked here and that keeps the scam attempts to a low level, here.

Once upon a time i receivied something like:
'Go to http://steamrcommunity.com/whatever !!!'
LUL
