Dead Space 3: Chapter 11 Help - Origin

Hello guys, I am stuck at chapter 11 on Dead Space 3, the mission where you will have to kill that huge alien spider at the deposits. I am trying to cut its limbs but tried 8-10 times and I can't manage to kill him after these attempts.. so if someone wants to help me in co-op I will highly appreciate :D

mmmm.. you may be right ? I tried the coop quick match and the system couldnt find any available servers/games... but I saw on Youtube people playing in coop.. so ?!

Hmm...I suppose you don't have access to the rocket launcher, do you? One good hit pretty much destroys all tree limbs at the same time. Then it's just a matter of shooting at his mouth, preferably with a rapid fire weapon.

No I dont have the rocket launcher yet... killing its first 3 limbs its easy, but then he grows 6 more (3 and 3 after)...

Yeah, you have to destroy the ones in his mouth 3 times before beating it.

It's a matter of resiliance...the rocket launcher just makes it a cakewalk hehe :-D

Thanks for the info, if I manage to kill the fucker, I will craft the rocket launcher as my second gun after :D DAMN !! :(

Hehehe, I really only used it for the crab spider...my main gun was a chain lightning with a force gun and my secondary weapon a machine gun with a rocket launcher. In the end I only used the second weapon on bosses...

you just need to keep hitting it and eventualy it rans away. use stasis to slow it down and try to dodge it's attacks.

The bad thing is that I crafted a flamethrower, which is effective against other creatures, but with the spider I'll have to get too close to him, also the second gun has that plasma but he damn manages to dodge my shots everytime, the rate of fire isnt great ....

Finally, I killed the spider :D Thanks for the tips guys :D:D:D I used the plasma cutter and lots of patience.
