It may not break the rules right now (and hence moderators left it alone in the past), but if this event starts after new guidelines are up then it will be closed. And all subsequent events where user asks users to give them keys (and they will make giveaways) will be against the rules.
It will be fine to get already created GAs to use them in the event. But not ask for keys, so you can make giveaway on your own.

We don't know exactly when it will go official. But when it will - this event will be against the rules, because of the way you gather keys for giveaways.

It won't be fine to use keys you asked other users for, to make giveaways with them.
So it's better if you change the rule right now, and users will make giveaways on their own. Not you getting free keys to make giveaways, and get CV instead of the user that donated the key to you.
Just like people do in community trains or say pokemon battle events. Creators did not ask users there to give them keys. Users were encouraged to make their own giveaways, and provide private links in comments.
If giveaway is just a reward for solving a jigidi or such, then there is no need for you to make it on your own. You can use private link that will be given to you by giveaway creator, and just add it at the end of puzzle.

Well not like i was specifically asking but some users did in the past found it easier for me to do all the work, was more meant to give an option, if it's just get a link i am fine with that.
Also i just lazely copy and pasted something that was otherwise till now just fine.
I am not expecting anywhere to get to level 10 soon with this or anything else, so slow it goes, nor do i care for reaching that level. (do care how others cheat their way to it though).

Yeah what i thought too, i think we are going a bit far with things here, i mean who is hurting who here, there aren't already much big events left, and Christmas is a time of sharing, which you will have in these community events. But who am i. ;)

I am always open to the idea that anything is always welcome although i hope it won't be filled (too much) with "trashy" $1 games, $3-5 is more acceptable.

If you look at day 1-31 that is from last year to give some idea, mostly it will be bundled stuff but there are usually a handful of people that come up with something unbundled.
When cards were worth more and before the region restrictions i would buy a gift too.

I think it might be needed, i can pitch in myself more this time, although how indiegala is going lately with every bundle a dupe, i am afraid to use those, and Seretti wants to do it a bit differently too this time.
But maybe i will accept just having a bit lesser games then the years before, last year it were about 140 which was a lot.
Dunno how it will go the next few weeks with the job stuff and how much time i will have, if i can even have my 2 weeks of december vacation.

TBH I am not keeping IndieGala keys anymore. I use what I need directly when I buy the bundle and gift the rest directly on either by SG or friendlist. All while keeping an eye open for possible dupes or revokes.

I would have done more difficult stuff like puzzles like Nordhbane would do, but i am too stupid for that so i'll stick to just jigidi's, it's what i am good at. :p
But it's also something nice and easy to do when people got some days off, when it's cold outside, cup of warm chocolate milk (now i want one).

No specific dates, i hope every day can be filled (and people can take several days, that's no problem at all).
The other years it was more common people doing so, it's like a big jigsaw puzzle myself trying to fit it all in and this year is a bit different.
Delisper will help me with atleast 1 game a day (might be 2p "filler" games here and there) so i atleast have something, which i hope to combine with atleast also 1 "better" game, and maybe some days even 3 or 4 games, especially on the special days.
I can and offcourse will pitch in myself too for some of the remaining missing days, but the more people can help the less i have to.

Well It's getting nearer to that time again, not looking forward to do all the work again, but hey people seemed to enjoy it. ;p
Like last year(s), for every day from dec 1 to dec 30 (every day a few giveaways) i tried to find and make christmas related jigidi's that combined with the games, as there are so many days, i hope some of you want to help out with a donate. you can give me a link and i will make the jigidi.
Feel free to add me or just half november is fine too (since you can only make giveaways 4 weeks ahead) or i'll try to give anyone a nudge if they forgot by that time, although i am the scattered brain one, so if i forgot something better to give me a nudge. :p
Last year i had one mod to warn me not to sound like begging, so hope i still worded it right, else let me know (i tried to word it as much the same as last year).
Oh btw if someone makes a giveaway, for example day 5, set it from december 4, 23:59 to december 5 23:59, gmt+1 (amsterdam time) please.
Any day is free to take (for now) depending on donations there will be several giveaways and jigidi's per day.
I hope some will take later dates too though not to have everyone taking the first 10 days (and yeah i am early but better be prepared).
All will be level 0+ to give everyone a fair chance to join this event.
Donators are not expected to clear their blacklist (up to them), i will write the donators name next to the jigidi, and it's for the solvers to check on their own.
NOTE: One can take as many days if he/she wants, don't have to restrict to one ("door") as per the other event AND/OR several people can pick the same day, there is no problem adding them in.
In fact especially on xmas and december 5 (our dutch santa claus thing) hope to have several.
