I was suggesting that you should contact the people over in CS and ask them directly about this =) I don't see how CS and SG are related... Is like when some users here create topics that should be addressed to Steam Support... I mean, contact them and see what they can do for you...

Ah, I see. Thank you for your answer.
Well, I was thinking: "I can't be the only one at SG using CheapShark" and so I thought "Hey, maybe someone knows a real neat userscript for that site, so asking doesn't hurt."
CheapShark can only implement the function themselves, they won't point me in the direction of a 3rd party userscript ^^
But, yeah, I guess asking them doesn't hurt

IsThereAnyDeal can hide games from your collection. What does this website do that ITAD cannot do ?

I'm always open to learn new things.
If ITAD can do everything CheapShark does, would you please be so kind and show/tell me the settings for ITAD so that I see every game available on every store and can sort all games at once after price or after percentage of the deal without listing the games I already own?
Thank you.

If ITAD can do everything CheapShark does
I never said that's the case, I don't know that other website so that's why I'm asking what extra features it offers
see every game available on every store
That's pretty much the default setting I think. You can choose which stores they will show you here : https://isthereanydeal.com/settings/stores/
And I think by default all are selected. Then the front page will simply show you everything if you don't apply any filter.
sort all games at once after price or after percentage of the deal without listing the games I already own
You can enable hiding games from your collection (which can be synced with Steam and GOG and I think you can manually add games to your collection too) here : https://isthereanydeal.com/settings/collection/
Or if you don't want to always hide them, you can use a filter instead. In the filters on the right of the front page, in "User" subsection you can tick "In Collection". Then once the filter is added just click on the minus sign to use it as "not in collection" : https://i.imgur.com/LXuFUaQ.png
Then on the right you can click on "Make preset" and you can save it as a custom preset that will appear on top of the filters : https://i.imgur.com/rEmYPut.png
For the sorting there are "Cut" and "Price" buttons on top of the game list that can be used to sort ascending or descending.

Ah, I see. Pardon me for the misunderstanding, then. I thought you took a peak at CheapShark and meant the comment "what can CS that ITAD can't" in snide :)
Well, I'm familiar with ITAD, so most of what you said I already knew. Nevertheless: Thank you very much for your effort and excellent summary.
But, the minus sign. THE MINUS SIGN! I never knew that existed. And I was always looking for sth like NOT in collection. Now I finally know how to set up proper filters! :D Thank you very, very, very much! This helped tremendously! And I also didn't know about saving presets.
I still get too many false positives, tho, but this is not the fault of ITAD and can be blamed on Steam API and too many different versions of things released.
For example, if I own a season pass, season pass is filtered out by ITAD but if the content of the season pass can be bought seperately, these will show up. Some manual tinkering is needed, I guess..

I just took a quick look and saw it was the same kind of website but I didn't really look in details. Have to say that their inferface looks much cleaner but it doesn't seem anywhere near as customisable as ITAD.
ITAD does have issues with duplicate games showing with a slightly different titles and some stores showing a 0β¬ price on some games. Their biggest issue is the website being too often irresponsive, but I'm not too bothered as I mainly use it for the mail notifications on deals from my wishlist.
Anyway glad that I could help you discover a new feature, you're welcome

I haven't looked at ITAD's API, but perhaps it's possible to write a script which takes the name of the game in CheapShark, convert it into something ITAD can query and check whether the game already exists in your collection in ITAD.
Other than the name of the game, CheapShark doesn't seem to have any other form of ID which points to the game on Steam

Hi guys.
Simple question: Does anyone know if there is a script for CheapShark that shows me if I already own a game on Steam? Something like "Steam Web Integration"?
I just recently discovered CheapShark and it is very close to something I was looking for for years
