What if I choose to pay with Paypal, and will be just one step before confirming the order, will it save the prices of the discounted items even after the discount ended?

I almost read what you had to say.

I keep wondering whether you have anything better to do in life than posting flammatory comments on every single post of mine even after months that I wasn't active, pretty sad.

As far as I know - nope. You'll have to buy chosen game with current price.

I don't think so. The price in your cart is the same as the price in the store, regardless of when the game was added to your cart.

No, it will say that one or more objects in your cart have changed price since you added them then ask you if you want to continue (the prices will then update).

Even after confirming the purchase from paypal's side?

This happened to me when Dishonored was on a glitch price. The price actually went through Paypal, but on the VERY LAST SCREEN it switched the price back to the real price. And if 100k people weren't trying to get the same deal, I would have managed it since the servers wouldn't have been overloaded. But yeah, somehow Steam overrode what was authorized by Paypal. So yes, they can change it. Does that answer your question?

"If using a payment method that directs you to an external website (such as PayPal or WebMoney), you will be rerouted back to Steam after filling in your billing details. This will confirm your purchase."

That states that Steam sends you to PayPal then back to Steam to confirm before the purchase is complete. If that is the case, then it's more than possible for them to change the prices.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: The price is always taken as the price of the moment you confirm the order on steam, this goes both for a discount ending and beginning. After that all you have to do is pay in the time allowed.

That's not how it works on Steam. Some websites do that were they lock in the price for like 15 minutes, but I've had it change on me during a glitch price before. Steam makes no promises there.
