Lookin for Games identical to Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

You could check the tag Metroidvania if there's anything interesting to you. My first thought was Dust: An Elysian Tail, although grinding isn't that important there.

You won't regret Dust. That was one truly amazing game. Hard to believe that, except for the voices, it was done by ONE guy.

Scaling seems okayish for me, started on tough - start was harsh, then I got accustomed with the system, parry, combos - now I'm playing without problems on hardcore.

I played on 2nd from the hardest, it was easy, restarted with hardest and one-shooting begin.

Hardest is surely unforgiving. I think It's a good difficulty, but only for second playthrough. I'd never suggest anyone start with that :)

Bunny Must Die! is a cute looking metrovania game which is played exactly like Symphony Of The Night. It's a little more harder, but a great game to play.
