okay so today i decided to continue with my company of heroes campaing, at bout 4 pm, the mission would be hill 192, i put it on expert (hardest difficulty) expecting some 3-4 hours as maximum to finish it, but to my surprise it wasnt.

it all started nice and slow, making my units and everything, after getting a fairly good army i decided to get to capture strategic points, and what do i encounter? fucking 3 machine gun kraufts on trenches which completely pumelled my rifleman, and it that wasnt enought, a bunker and a mortar to destroy the rest, after a couple of battles i finally got 2-3 strategic points, then i manage to get into the town and bam FUCKING PANZERS AND AA GUNS COMBINED WITH SNIPERS AND MG ALL OVER THE BUILDINGS, and if that wasnt enought, the germans counter attacked every 5 minutes, with granadiers carrying 2-3 rocket launchers, i had to put thousands of defenses, even after creating an extensive army, i could only move like minimum 1 strategic point because of the intensive firefight that i had to put up with, i lasted 8 hours 8 FUCKING HOURS, in this skirmish slowly gaining points and recovering my forces from 0. it was the most awesome and terryfing experience ever.

TL;DR company of heroes aint a game to mess with

i also have some screenshots about the battle in my steam, go check em to see how everything went out.

I'm also Asian, Chinese to be exact (as shown in my avatar). But why can you tell that Simon is Asian?
For your record, I find maths not that hard either.

because, obviusly i knew what damaged the panzers, but like i said, there were a lot of grenadiers with rocket launches, so i needed infantry to take them down, and there was also the aa guns and goliaths.

Once upon a time,I was more than halfway to completing the campaigns on expert.
Then came the new Steam version, with all progress reset.

This mission together with the Carentan counter attack are the hardest. For the latter, it's only hard if you want the medal.

And you've only got 21 hours in this game. It's not enough to make you an expert.

It's pretty much already been said. You just lack experience with the game. It sounds like your biggest mistake was sitting back in the beginning and trying to build up. While you were doing that, the enemy was taking map objectives which they then had time to reinforce. It also sounds like you were attacking fortified positions with a head-on frontal assault which is not only the most difficult to succeed with, it also results in the highest number of casualties. Also, it seems you were using the wrong units for "the job," making it even more difficult.

If you want to learn how to play better without spending too much time and energy, You might want to check out some of the online competitive replays available. One site dedicated to those is The Frontline Network, but there are others as well.

the enemy already had all positions taken and reinforced once the mission started. obviusly at first there was lots of casualties because i did not expected bunkers or aa guns covering all places, if by "the job" you meant pushing foward, i didint, used shermans and rangers with aa guns and other units, the biggest problem i had though was that they used airstrikes whenever i was even close theyr observation point and their base, losing a lot of units who were a bit too slow, its true i did not had experience in this map, there was a lot of shit the kraufts did that they did not do in the other missions.

Perhaps I was mistaken in my original assessment of the map. (I'm used to playing MP, not solo campaign.) One thing you might try, however, is to view the replay and see what the AI started with and how it played from there.

you cant have single player replays

You can at least get the setup from a "walkthrough." Something like this might help, although this guy's play is pretty weak.

CoH is not a turtling game. It's a game of swift execution, flanking and combined arms. You can't blob everything, rush and win; the game doesn't work that way.

yeah, the game did told me that in this mission, well not like told me, more like screamed it at my face for 8 hours.

Grenadiers are extremely susceptible to snipers (FlaKs too). If grens have panzerschrecks, BAR-ed riflemen will walk over them.

Bunkers are easy to dispose of. Bring a squad of riflemen to get suppressed, flank with a squad of flame engies. Or pummel with mortars.

Lay mines. Keep your squads alive and healthy. Scout. Micromanage.

Elite grenadiers are better than riflemen though, and since the AI is on expert, the coefficient are ridiculous as always.

I'm not that familiar with campaigns and difficulty coefficients. Still - a sniper instantly knocks off a quarter of a vet3 gren squad's firepower...

It's an awesome game, no doubt about it, it's just not my style ^_^
