What the heck is this

same one for $49 no? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TDTXHJP?th=1
Yes, but normal price isn't nearly as hilarious as $700,000+ for a game controller.
To be fair, it is a great controller. Have one myself.
It's actually $712,156 and 24 cents.
And not a cent less!!!
Yeah but Ebay is like a marketplace, they can ask whatever stupid price they want and has nothing to do with any value or real store prices.
that's it basically, I saw tons of items sold at 10x their value.. it's up to the customer
10x yes... but this is 10 THOUSAND x
Your maths needs serious work. it's a little over 14 times its retail value. 10,000 times would be half a million dollars.
It is though, and more. It's almost 3/4 million. 712,000 hello?
money laundering perhaps
oh well, this could be a possible reason =P
Just because they list a price doesn't mean it's going to sell for that. Precisely. It can sit there unsold forever because nobody thinks it's worth that.
i will buy 4 just in case they sell all the units in 1 day.
thanks for the info
They only ship to the UK...you'd think for those prices they'd ship as far as Neptune. :)
Probably out of stock, so in order to not lose views they increase the price so everyone can still check but no one will buy until it's restocked.
Honestly never thought of that. I just figured it was one of those automated price adjustments you used to see online where two stores algorithms would get in a loop of increasing the prices to insane levels.
I just found it funny when I saw the price was all, especially given that some of the best sales have been going on recently. :)
Yeah, whatever the reason of this pricing, it's still worth a laugh. xD
Damn, I miss 24 cents!
I can contribute the missing 24 cents for 30% of the property rights of the controller!
probably some kind of money laundering scheme...
half joke. half hopes some1 accidentally buys it.
if some1 does buy it and people have done so with way over priced goods ebay cancels no prop.
if you want to have some fun contact the seller and ask then questions about it 1 at a time and keep talking about how interested you are and what a great deal it is.
I think most of these are money laundering scams?
theres better ways to launder money then letting e-bay and paypal get rich off you
that would be cheap laundering fees though
this is all about ads or "relevance" algorithm.
they believe if you pause or put down your listing, you lose "relevance" on searches or selling.
as bonus, you get some extra relevance because people visit your listing (the link you brought, listing is on fire).
some stores already fixed this punishing people who exploig algorithm like this... but most don't know why sellers do this.
this is common in brazil, because, you know, brazilians.
Someone mentioned it was about retaining views earlier, though thanks for elaborating with some more of the details.
Interesting. I'd always wondered what that was about.
Um.......... you can legit buy that I think NEW for like $50 or less? WTF
I agree with the placeholder hypothesis.
U.S. dollars, or Zimbabwe dollars?
This reminded me of an offer from Amazon DE from 2014.
Just upped it
I wonder what to get, this controller or a Ferrari and a Lamborghini Aventador. Such a tough decision :)
Definitely the controller. You know the ladies dig sweet aftermarket controllers more than sports cars. :)
Her rumble feature must be stuck on max settings...
Over ten million bucks for a gamepad? I'm... uh... impressed at their optimism.
Hmm, it’s currently at 700k... oh no, it’s adapting!
It displays as one's local currency. So for me it's R10.4 million
Oh, that makes sense.
I had always though a buck was slang for an American dollar.
PSA you really can forget the $5 steam controllers cause they are sold out and some orders are being canceled.
Yeah mine got cancelled, I am sad
Oh noes D: That's a royal case of suck alright.
Don't feel bad. The controller is pretty average at best. I switched back to Xbox One controllers pretty quickly.
did you get a message telling you it was cancelled. im still waiting on mine.
Yeah they messaged me on steam and sent me an email. maybe if you havent got a msg yet you're good?
Thankfully mine arrived Saturday afternoon. Sucks for the people that had orders cancelled though.
did you get it ups or usps or fedx or griffon or stork
It came by portal, obviously. :)
no but really. im still waiting on mine and i want to know if ups is gonna leave it on my porch without knocking or if itll be in my mailbox
My bad, it came by FedEx, which made it more shocking since their service here is beyond bad.
ty. now i gotta check my porch every few hrs. i wish those fuckers would learn to knock.
lol i got an email from steam last night. they just shipped it. took them 8 days to ship. gonna be another 3 days till i get it. at least now i have tracking and i dont gotta worry about it being left outside

What would suck is if there's defects in the controller. They can't replace it cause there's no more and if you returned it for a refund you'd have to pay shipping which is pricey making it not worth returning. You basically flushed the money down the drain.
Methinks someone put in the wrong currency after the number.
You're all laughing but then it turns out to be a diamonds smuggling scheme and the millionaire who buys it finds another 10 mil in it. :D
Just got an email 'Is "8Bitdo Sn30 Pro+ Blu…" still of interest?'
At that price, I'll take 4!
And at least the Switch Pro controllers are a marked improvement over the Wii U Pro controllers.
The Wii U Pro controllers feel cheap, the shoulder buttons and triggers feel awful, the thumbstick / button layout isn't ideal for anything other than twin-stick shooters, and it really feels like a cheap third-party knock-off. I can't believe Nintendo would charge $60 for them; I got one on sale and still feel like I overpaid. Nintendo should feel ashamed.
Fucking hate scalpers
Here's the catch:
"30 day returns - Buyer pays return shipping"
Of course, they obviously would have money to burn. :)
