It's actually $712,156 and 24 cents.
And not a cent less!!!

Yeah but Ebay is like a marketplace, they can ask whatever stupid price they want and has nothing to do with any value or real store prices.

that's it basically, I saw tons of items sold at 10x their value.. it's up to the customer

10x yes... but this is 10 THOUSAND x

Your maths needs serious work. it's a little over 14 times its retail value. 10,000 times would be half a million dollars.

It is though, and more. It's almost 3/4 million. 712,000 hello?

Just because they list a price doesn't mean it's going to sell for that. Precisely. It can sit there unsold forever because nobody thinks it's worth that.

i will buy 4 just in case they sell all the units in 1 day.

thanks for the info

Probably out of stock, so in order to not lose views they increase the price so everyone can still check but no one will buy until it's restocked.

Damn, I miss 24 cents!

I can contribute the missing 24 cents for 30% of the property rights of the controller!

probably some kind of money laundering scheme...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

half joke. half hopes some1 accidentally buys it.
if some1 does buy it and people have done so with way over priced goods ebay cancels no prop.
if you want to have some fun contact the seller and ask then questions about it 1 at a time and keep talking about how interested you are and what a great deal it is.

I think most of these are money laundering scams?

Permalink

theres better ways to launder money then letting e-bay and paypal get rich off you

Permalink

that would be cheap laundering fees though

this is all about ads or "relevance" algorithm.
they believe if you pause or put down your listing, you lose "relevance" on searches or selling.
as bonus, you get some extra relevance because people visit your listing (the link you brought, listing is on fire).
some stores already fixed this punishing people who exploig algorithm like this... but most don't know why sellers do this.
this is common in brazil, because, you know, brazilians.

Someone mentioned it was about retaining views earlier, though thanks for elaborating with some more of the details.
Interesting. I'd always wondered what that was about.

lol

What would suck is if there's defects in the controller. They can't replace it cause there's no more and if you returned it for a refund you'd have to pay shipping which is pricey making it not worth returning. You basically flushed the money down the drain.

Just got an email 'Is "8Bitdo Sn30 Pro+ Blu…" still of interest?'

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

At that price, I'll take 4!

And at least the Switch Pro controllers are a marked improvement over the Wii U Pro controllers.

The Wii U Pro controllers feel cheap, the shoulder buttons and triggers feel awful, the thumbstick / button layout isn't ideal for anything other than twin-stick shooters, and it really feels like a cheap third-party knock-off. I can't believe Nintendo would charge $60 for them; I got one on sale and still feel like I overpaid. Nintendo should feel ashamed.
