This is a story filled with sadness, loneliness and heartache, if you have any life threatening heart problems stop reading now.
So there I was relaxing in front of my PC and checking my library when all of a sudden a strange thought crossed my mind. I havent played Witcher 2 for months and I was done with it anyway so why was it wasting precious SSD space? Acting on impulse I promptly uninstalled the game while thinking that the save files would still be in my documents folder.
Much to my great horror, I realized that even though the Witcher 2 and gamesave folders were still there the latter was completely barren. Despair overwhelmed me because I didnt want to play the game from scratch. The missing save files were a mystery, they should have been there. So I started searching everywhere, even Steam root folders without any success and when I locked my eyes with the "Cloud" tab in Steam settings, then and there I understood everything. It was grinning at me with malicious eyes and sharpish teeth, it was the culprit.
So my question is this; Will Wild Hunt pull my saves from the cloud or should I start searching the net for save depositories much like the ones Mass Effect franchise have?
