should humble be allowed to take away what we paid for no warning or notice?
well they mention they'll get more in the past bundles usually do replace whats required other then the yogcast bundles which mentioned limited keys of specific games.
these had no warning of limited keys no limitations.
so normally they would do the right thing, but this time they made a bad move messing over anyone who was still waiting and waiting for that email.
now im hearing the 2k bundle has a majority out of stock, wondering if theyll be removed.
there is also another bundle with a out of stock key too...
that would be true, but usually they restock, if they placed limited counters with the numbers then it would be understandable
but this is a pure mess that so many have yet to notice and the only proof that remains is the notices in steam groups and the notice on here per the bundles sadly.

1: they ran out posted the usual out of stock more keys coming 2: then they removed the game from the bundle zero notice or warning a month later, meaning no further keys for those who have yet to get theres

They should include an option for people like you, to opt out of any purchase the very moment they run out of keys for any game. Ofc they'd also have to immediately reveal the keys for all your purchases.
Everyone else who isn't complaining just as much should be free to purchase their bundles despite your problems.

if you were to read i mentioned that my information was wrong
the game is still in the bundle but awaiting the key, i changed the topic to reflect that many are being held out of stock
yet still in stock in store atleast for the one.
i have no problem with waiting for a key to come aslong as it will, but my information before pointed too it was removed

No problem. Regarding Humble: Just relax. I've bought games there since the very first day they went in business. I had hundreds of unrevealed keys over several years and no real issues.
Yes, it can be annoying if you desperately want a game asap and they immediately run out of keys. But it's not worth getting upset about it imho.

ah im not upset i was worried that they had removed the game from the bundle, i was checking to see if it was in every so often
then i checked via my saved link, wrong bundle link course and didnt see it, checked isthereanydeal
did further research, then presumed it was removed from the already bought bundles.
i was more worried for not just myself but everyone, as would not be the first time ive heard of a bundle site having problems.
ive been using humble id assume over 10 years? among the other big ones, i just try to make sure i either save them
or redeem them right away, else chances are we forget about them, had it happen with a couple somehow rarely.
and then gifted a couple and after fact noticed i didn't own them lol
so its more of a mind problem, ive got adhd autism and tinnitus as of a few years ago and high anxiety among few other things
and life problems, so im high strung atm, im just glad that i was wrong and that humble isnt doing what i thought they might be doing.
hopefully the keys come in sooner then later as i understand it takes time for dev/publishers to request keys, then for bundle sites to place them, read if remember right the bioshock collection some got 2x keys in the 2k bundle.
so on bundle front im patient, just hopeful theyll come in sooner then later, my main concern was if they would be coming or not

im use to playing support for various people myself, ive also played help for developers and a publisher on steam
got adopted as a community manager via the one dev and by the one publisher lol
atm im dealing with a list of things, like my landlords, my neighbors hopefully buying the place found out and willing to rent it to me and my neighbor older war vet i help with stuff, main reason there buying pretty sure, plus to own a majority of the street.
my friends family member passing away possibly soon as well as them being in the ER again, my mother dealing with my abusive stepdad again thanks to my sister booting her from up north stupid stuff
got one cat a homeless friend left behind with few health problems i took to vet for so meds here n there, then my two ive had for awhile gotta go tue and turns out thats the day landlords planned for apt showoff duel apts wall down middle.
as for myself having support i have a handful but many of them have been busy of late and one lost the head of there household recently so haven't exactly heard from them much, im the odd one so finding people who accept me and who i can trust completely is kinda hard, im very trusting, but i try to hold back on that or you know what happens trust abused.

so you bought it and didn't touch it for a month and then you wanted to get the key and it was out of stock? Happend to me a few times with monthlies but they added keys later and send an email about it. Not their fault if people hoard keys instead of using them ;)

oh no no no i tried to claim around the time it was ending, but it said that it was out of stock and more were coming asap, i watched it for a month thats how i know how long it took before they removed it from the bundle page.
this case the game is completely removed from the bundle, there is no more waiting for fresh keys warning anymore either
its been completely wiped from the bundle for anyone who didn't get a key yet
so to put it simple, 1: the game was out of stock when i went to claim mine 2: near a month later after checking repeatably it was removed completely from the bundle no warning notice email, it is unlisted from the bundle completely
its not even listed as bundled on isthereanydeal.com anymore

someone mentioned if correct the 2k bundle 7 out 18 are now waiting on new keys
then there is another bundle thats been out of stock for awhile
they will not be restocking age of wonders planetfall they wiped it from the bundle, i could take a screenshot of mine if the bundle wasnt so large as its no longer listed

Except that AoW Planetfall was in another bundle (the Paradox one), you both can see another name in your picture and no AoW Planetfall in the original Final Frontier list. Are you sure that you are looking at the correct bundle? If you are right, it's shit, but it just feels like you are mistaken (and keys are out of stock with later restocking, which is not great, but much better)

I personally never had issues with them. I mean, I've had once a key that was out of stock, from Street Fighters or something and after a week or two I got one copy. I always activate and claim all my keys the moment I get them. If I wanna give them as giveaways for instance, I copy and paste them in a word document. That way I have a wide control over my keys and I don't have to worry missing them out or forgetting about them.

i was once gifted a bundle and within minutes one was claimed, but this was old indiegala a friend gifted me a bundle
and had access too the bundle too, so they most likely saw i owned it and claimed it was indiegala who did something with it
as they would not contact support.
ever since then i leave nothing covered, as most of the bundle websites state you have a 30 day warranty to claim or something
beyond that any problems they cant help with, but if there uncovered that lowers the risk.
as it is possible some do return un used keys even if sold by mistake or otherwise, since some mention revoked keys at times
personally i dont think ive really ever had any revoked keys really thankfully, and thats with buying most hb, chunk fanatical, and some indiegala less as of late

It's very possible. This never happened to me, so I can't speak from my experience, but positively.

I perfectly understand. You have to understand that they make more money selling individually than actually through bundles. Money comes first, and we have to remember that Humble or IGN is a business that looks for that as priority, even if we sometimes look back at what Humble used to be.

This can be even extended as further down the line. A month is sure a good time frame, but some businesses need to have a longer time plan to execute, replace, change if necessary and make modifications in deals if ever something doesn't go to plan. They obviously have a subscription sheet that kinda roughly estimates their resubscribers, so with that and what they have as loyal subscribers which they know as numbers can kinda estimate how many keys they need + whatever comes after.

I honestly believe like many other online business, they struggle with staff that deals with this kind of things or there's some sort of chaos happening behind that we aren't aware of and they are behind schedule managing e-mails and stuff. It's easy to speculate, but waiting 1 month to get a reply is a big disappointing, I'm not going to lie.

I honestly don't know what happened, but good for those who got an extra copy to share it with others. I have not purchased that bundle because most of the games I own, except the DLC's of Borderlands 3, which I've not played and will take a while to play, so I'm not rushing.

somethings i should note, i have various developer friends and i think one publisher, and have helped various developers/publishers, but bit rusty on my insight since most of it was long ago, so somethings i mention tend to be direct info.
some of them i met well they were doing bundles and learned some about how it worked between dev and bundle sites back then.
usually they were indie side of things.
as for the support staff and all that, highly understandable ive had friends who worked in support, then also community managers on steam, i myself got adopted as one awhile back for a series and by a publisher too which handled there group some for them.
also been mod/admin in groups before, so been thru the whole management side of things.
things can get hectic at times.
hopefully things aren't getting stressful for them over this, i ended up sending in a message about the two other bundles with out of stock keys seeing if they could provide an eta.
i use to often be the helper, info provider, try to stop misinformation and anything else i could do long ago to help new developers
or indie developers, my recent giveaway thats active is one of them, was bundled long ago and finally hit release, so happy for them ^w^

I think any kind of insight and expertise matter. Not everybody can understand or see things as they really are. I personally never been an admin or worked as support, but I know what it means to work with people. It's the most difficult job as you don't have the same problems you encounter all the time, so some operations can take a few minutes and others days, because of e-mail follow ups.
I perfectly understand delays, and whatever the problem was is partially my fault. I tried a key from Paradox from the most recent Crusader Kings 3 and I already own the game and the key activated and I basically lost it. I shouldn't have tried it, but hey, I thought it contains a DLC or something, and I got screwed over. I e-mail them to ask if it's possible to get another key, as the one I used went to waste as I already owned the game already, but I've understood that Paradox's key's system is kinda shitty.
A week has passed and I've gotten nothing so far. I don't even know if I'll ever get an response though, but again, partially was my fault.

No idea i got it as gift link, its not stated there. But i guess its from Humble Indie Bundle 19.
In last 9 months am unable to fetch key because its out of stock. But its not available even longer, i took gift link with knowing its not available right now and hope they deliver keys later. 9 months later and still nothing :D

sighs that is a true nightmare.... normally bundle sites mention a clause of redeem within 30 days past that its an unsure if youll get a replacement, but i think thats usually for in stock keys, not sure what there policy is on out of stock.
i would say whoever sent the giftlink should contact them as well as you if you both havent yet to try and get things moved along
is the game still for same on the store? if not possible they cut ties with the dev/publisher

With HB, I had this happen with F.E.A.R. Complete Pack; took like 5 months(!) or so to get a replacement key. It's not like I let it sit and rot either. Tried revealing it less than a week later.
I guess I can kind of understand it when it's a single game from a store with thousands of them, but this issue should be nonexistent with bundle games, especially when said bundles are still active.

well got the 2k bundle today and it is an mess as an chunk of the games are already out, normally ud assume they would get an equal amount per each game, but in this case it seems off.

sorry everyone i had mixed up my lists it would seem i added the notification to the wrong bundle link, and was mainly checking via the website

original topic was about planetfall premium edition being removed from a bundle but i had things mixed up and my research looking into it didn't come up as it ever being bundled among a few other factors leading to me creating this thread, sorry everyone i goofed
