Galaxy S4. octa core or quad core?

The octa core one,just because is more powerful.And that's what gamers want!

I would get the S4 with the octa core.

I'm pretty sure the 8-core version only uses 4 cores at a time, switching between more and less powerful cores depending on what you're using it for. I could be wrong though.

I'm still not sure which one I would pick, but how the cores are used is something you should look into and it might help you decide.

I think only the quad-core is 4G ready(at least here)

Quadcore is more powerfull, but i think Octa is using less power.

If I remember rightly, the octa-core uses two quad cores, one for generally running the phone and a faster one for more demanding apps and games?

idk about you, but I'll go with quad core, 5% difference vs loss of LTE + loss of cyanogenMod support on the international version is a big disappointment to me. Still, I'm waiting for next-gen of phone before actually upgrading myself.

P.S: You should have gotten HTC One :P
