So, my new pc will come this monday, and i want you guys to recommand me any games to play on it, and some upgrade tips cuz' i want to upgrade it later this year!

  • Processor: Intel Celeron DualCore G1610 2*2.6GHz/2MB/1333MHz
  • Gigabyte GA-H61M
  • Video Card: Intel HD3000 Graphics
  • Ram: 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz
  • 500GB SATAIII HDD
  • Power Supply: 450W 8cm cooler
Sorry for my english. I want some tips, so:

Should i buy another 2 gb ram, or buy 4gb instead of 2?
What video card, processor you guys recommand? I was searched a bit, and checked out some stuff. Also, i'm not good at PC acsessories, so it will be very helpful to recommand me anything.

So, what i got:

  • Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz LGA1155
  • Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5

I want to use this as a gaming PC. I really want to play the new games on medium textures, but if it is runs on low, it isn't a problem too! Sorry again for my english and for the long post.

I currently went through the Portal 2 co-op campaign and Saints Row 3 co-op campaign. The latter's somewhat buggy, but I had fun with both of them. Check em out.

This guy took pretty much all of my Steam recommendations right there!
I further confirm that Terraria is pretty good too.
As is Borderlands 1 and 2.
Titan Quest is a bit dated, but good.

castle crashers, sniper elite v2 and nazi zombie army but these two are heavy to run. I hope your pc can handle them without much problems.

also killing floor has not a campaign but is one of the best co-op game that i know

it's like nazi zombie army, the only difference is that in v2 everybody shoot you ^^ it was a shock for me play v2 after nazi zombie army.. i was like" oh damn, here they shoot meeee" also v2 campaign is a bit longer and you can play it in two, not up to four players.

I recommend you to buy a better processor like a Intel i5 (better processor (quad-core) and it's just a little more expensive)

and if you want to upgrade the graphic card you will need to buy a new power supply like 650w or 700w just in case. (a modular, opcional but if you want to improve the airflow it's something to have in mind(better cooling)(for your better understanding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm_2RG61hhk ).

also be sure that the graphic card fits in your desktop case(box), if you have any doubts ask at the shop where you'll buy the stuff

sorry about my english.

650w or 700w? what the fuck are you trying to power? most cards recommend at least 400-500

The card recommend 400w-500w just for the card, not the rest of the pc (not that the rest add more comsumption)

and if he want to upgrade later is graphic to a better one, he will have to buy another again

at least if he buy one with that kind of power (650w) he doesn't need to buy another for the next 5 years (unless it burn things happen)(and continue to upgrade if he want without any worry about the power.

(don't forget that recommended power is the mimimum that's needed for normal function, he want a pc for gamimg and most likely he will try someday to overclock something meaning he needs more power.)

another thing when someone buys pieces for a pc buy them not for what you need now but for future needs.(like buying a better processor so it takes longer to became obsolete)
sorry for the long post. potato

Whenever threads like this appear, I go find a link to Gundemonium Collection. All three installments have demos, so you can try them to see if it's your cup of tea.
