GTA VI Confirmed for 2019??

So today my friend gave me a picture of a strange message sent by Rockstar in GTA V Online and I didn't believe him and said it was photoshop or something but then when I went inside the game I saw it for myself.
So what's the deal?
I searched google and there's no official announcement about this.

What do you think??

thats actually pretty neat.only on modding devices tho. could be a hacker making a joke by sending it to ppl. imo its unlikely tho as rdd will come out first

It seems unlikely to me that they would release GTA VI so soon, especially since their big thing now is Red Dead Redemption 2. And announcing it via a GTA V message seems a weird PR move.

Also, there are a few articles on this thing already...
